DESIGN/BUILD WHY DESIGN-BUILD WITH BASIS ? We have specialized in a design oriented Design/Build approach because we believe that it produces the best product in the shortest timeframe for the most reasonable cost. ONE TEAM The project is handled start to finish by the same team with the same person to go to when an issue arises. SHORTER TIMEFRAME From a design point of view, the execution and refinement of design concepts are possible right up to the end of the project. From a construction perspective, the logistics and real costs of construction are evaluated from the start of the design process. We are able to get the construction phase started sooner and continue designing later in the process. BETTER BUDGET CONTROL The structure of the process allows complete management of the project and budget for both the client and the architect. Earlier budgets based on real numbers and regular open reporting of detailed costs as the project progresses allow for more control. FLEXIBILITY The ability to revisit budget and design issues continuously through the project is enhanced by our construction management process. Through this approach we are able to delete and add things to the scope of work as the project progresses with no penalty to the client. This flexibility also allows the right amount of money to be spent on the right things during the project. BEST REALIZATION OF DESIGN CONCEPTS There are many creative challenges in building a custom project.
